Ms. Vivan Nguyen
Principal Orthoptist
Ms Vivan Nguyen is an extensively trained orthoptist. Vivan has had experience working in the private and public sector nationwide.
She is a valuable and well respected member of the Orthoptics Association of Australia and currently dedicates her time to the Association as the Social Media Co-ordinator.
Outside of work Vivan is a keen hiker and enjoys spending time with her friends and family savouring eclectic food and promoting the newest foodie trends!
Education and Employment :
Vivan graduated from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science . She added to her postgraduate qualifications with further study and was awarded a Master of Orthoptics degree .
Following graduation, Vivan decided to add to her Orthoptic knowledge with experience intestate on the Sunshine Coast.
Here her work varied and gave her valuable insights into specialist areas of Ophthalmology particularly :
- Paediatrics
- Neuro-ophthalmology
- Cataract and Refractive surgery
- Management of Retinal conditions

- The Austin Hospital Melbourne
- Vivan also works as a locum orthoptist at Ivanhoe Eye Clinic, Greensborough Eye Clinic and Ashwood Eye Centre.
