This includes digital retinal fundus photography , ocular coherence tomography (OCT) and fundus fluorescein angiography (FFA) which allow visualisation of specific retinal disease in greater detail.
Medical retinal procedures that are often performed on site include retinal laser and intravitreal (eye) injections which are always performed in our sterile treatment room under sterile conditions.
There may be some instances where certain procedures may need to be performed in an operating room and your surgeon will discuss this in greater detail .
