Dr Christolyn Raj is an Australian trained Ophthalmologist.
She has special interests in the area of :
– Retinal Disease including Diabetic Retinopathy and Age-related Macular Degeneration
– Cataract surgery
– Pediatric Ophthalmology
Christolyn continues her current research in the area of Diabetes with the Diabetes Institute and has recently been involved in authoring a chapter in a textbook of Vascular Disease for medical students.
She has is a published author having been published in many popular peer reviewed medical journals and continues to be called on to present at national and international medical conferences.
EDUCATION & TRAINING:
After completing her post-graduate professional training in ophthalmology at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Melbourne and The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Christolyn was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists. She undertook further fellowship training in retinal disease, cataract/refractive surgery, and pediatric eye disease prior to holding consultant positions at both public and private hospitals.
