Ophthalmology Outreach services

Dr Wright is passionate about the eyecare in our Indigenous communities.

He has recently conducted an outreach ophthalmology program at Mt Isa.

Here Dr Wright is involved in screening for chronic eye disease, instituting  patient education and medical and surgical management of  these chronic eye conditions. He is working towards developing management protocols in collaboration with the community which will aim to preserve vision and improve the quality of life of individuals  affected by eye disease.

Dr Wright  hopes to continue his outreach work  is striving towards achieving similar goals in our Indigenous communities in Victoria.
