RANZCO
The month of November heralded the 48th annual RANZCO Congress for ophthalmologists nation wide Every year this is an overwhelming success and this year was no exception.
The Congress was held in the grand surrounds of the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and the star-studded line up of official guests , international colleagues and fellow ophthalmologists – many leaders in their own disciplines was impressive indeed.
The education programe was exceptional with a concurrent session held for orthoptists , nursing staff and practice managers that was attended by all our staff members and the feedback received was unanimous : insightful , practical and clinically relevant.1
The free paper sessions and seminars were attended by many of our doctors who participated in the lively discussions with experts in the fields of medical retina , cataract and refractive surgery to just name a few. Dr Christolyn Raj and Dr Michael Chen also participated in the Awards Ceremony and President’s reception which officially opened the Congress and inducted new Fellows to the College.
